How Chiropractic Can Help Tennis Elbow
Champagne Chiropractic recently attended the Colorado State Open at Gates Tennis Center here in Denver. Being part of the tennis community reminded us of one of the most common issues players face: tennis elbow, also known as lateral epicondylitis.
Tennis elbow shows up as pain on the outside of the elbow that can spread into the forearm or wrist. Common signs include:
Burning or sharp discomfort
Stiffness or swelling around the joint
A weaker grip, making everyday tasks like turning a doorknob or opening a jar more difficult
You don’t need to be a tennis player to experience this. Repetitive arm motions — from lifting to typing — can cause the same strain.
Chiropractic care can help by restoring motion to the elbow, wrist, and surrounding joints. This often reduces stiffness, supports the body’s healing process, and improves mobility. We may also share stretches and mobility work to prevent future flare-ups.
